Life at Devies

The consulting industry is full of smart people working inside systems that no longer make sense. Too many companies talk about change without changing anything. Too many measure progress in hours instead of outcomes. And too many accept a model that has stopped moving.

We don’t.

Devies exists because we believe consulting can be better than it is today. Not louder. Not more complicated. Just better.

We think like builders. We question old habits. We improve what we touch. And we expect people here to take responsibility for their ambition, not wait for someone else to hand it to them.

This is not about being different for the sake of it. It is about doing work that creates real value. It is about having direction in a field where most companies drift. And it is about giving people the room and the trust to grow faster than they thought they could.

If something can be made better, we fix it.
If something does not make sense, we challenge it.
And if someone wants to take on more, we let them.
Simple as that.

How We Work

We take ambition seriously, and responsibility even more. Not the kind you are given, but the kind that comes from within. If something can be improved, you improve it. That is the craft.

Roles here are flexible. Titles do not decide what you are allowed to do. If you want to shape something or lead something, the path is open. What matters is the work you put in and the results you create.

We work as a team because it makes ideas sharper. The best argument wins. We keep egos low and standards high.

We care about substance, not optics. Good judgment over process. Actual impact over looking productive.

New people feel it quickly. Wealth, Health and Happiness guide decisions. Responsibility is real, not symbolic. And when you improve something, people notice.

Everyday life at Devies is simple and surprisingly real.

Everyday Life

Everyday life at Devies is calm, focused and straightforward. People do what needs to be done. No one hides behind a title. No one waits for someone else to fix things.

Some days are quiet. Some are fast and collaborative. You choose how social you want to be. Nothing is forced. We are not a family. We are a group of adults who take our work seriously and enjoy working with others who think the same way.

We like seeing each other at the office because the work gets better when we are in the same room. But we do not force it. The point is quality, not rules.

New colleagues often say the same thing after a week.
It is more real than I expected.
You do not hide behind words.
You actually mean what you say.

That is exactly the intention.

Why People Stay

People stay at Devies because the company keeps moving. If we look the same after two years, something is wrong. The world develops fast, and so do we. That gives people new problems to solve, new skills to learn and new space to grow.

Your ambition decides how far you go. If you deliver, you are not blocked. If you want responsibility, you take it. If you want to lead something, you show it in the work. There are no long decision chains and no unclear rules. What matters is that you raise the standard and contribute to the direction we are building.

People also notice what is missing.
No politics.
No prestige games.
No pretending.
The best idea wins. Always.

And when someone eventually leaves, they leave better. Sharper thinking. Higher standards. More self-awareness. We do not need everyone to stay forever. We need people who want to do honest, meaningful work while they are here.

The Devies Difference

The Devies Difference is not a slogan. It is a way of working.

We question habits that no longer add value. We improve things instead of maintaining them. We expect people to think, not just follow. And we make decisions based on what makes sense, not on tradition.

Consulting has spent years measuring safe metrics and calling it progress. That is not enough. If something does not create real outcomes for clients or for people, we change it.

Some things here are structured. Others are intentionally open. That is not confusion. It is space for judgment, responsibility and growth.

Other companies hope people stay because it is comfortable. We want people to stay because they believe in the way we work.

In a field that often lacks direction, we choose to have one. Simple, clear, human and always moving.
